From your file to a tracked parcel with your name on it
One approved first article per SKU, then batches into stock and orders out the door. You never touch the parts unless you want to.
Send the design
Upload the STL or 3MF, or send it with a note on material, color, packaging and the quantity you expect to move. A person prices the SKU within one business day.
Approve the first article
We print one unit at the qty-1 price and send photos and measurements, or ship it to you at postage cost. Nothing runs in quantity until you approve it. The profile that made it is locked for every reorder.
We print and QC the batch
The batch runs across the farm from the approved profile. Every unit is checked against the first article before it goes into stock; anything that fails is reprinted before it counts.
We pack and ship under your brand
Orders arrive by Shippo sync or CSV. We pull from your stock, bag or box it, add your insert, and label it with your shop name and return address. Nothing from TAKT 3D goes in the box.
You get the tracking number
Every shipment leaves with a carrier scan and a tracking number for your store. Reorder the batch any time; the price is the one on your approved profile.

Products a PLA-only farm cannot make
Outdoor planters in ASA, flexible phone mounts in TPU, heat-resistant brackets in carbon-fiber nylon, and multicolor signs printed in one piece — on the same rate card as a PLA keychain, from the same San Diego floor.
Engineering materials, priced on the same card
ABS, ASA, PC, TPU, PA6-CF, PET-CF, PAHT-CF, PPS-CF — outdoor-grade, flexible, heat-resistant and carbon-fiber parts that a PLA-only farm turns away. Every one is a multiplier on the PLA rate published at /pricing.
Multicolor up to 8 colors
Signs, name plates, logo tiles and two-tone housings printed in one piece in PLA or PETG. You assign the colors in your own 3MF; the quote reads them back and prices the filament changes from your file.
A first article before every run
One approved unit gates every SKU. Fit, color and finish are confirmed in hand before a batch is committed, and the slicer profile that made it is the one every reorder uses.
Batches from 25 units per SKU
Volume tiers apply automatically from 6 units (5% off) to 5,000+ (40% off). Three SKUs in one batch share the tier on the combined quantity and pay one setup fee.

What typical seller SKUs cost to produce
Priced by the same engine as the instant quote: each part on both its material volume and its estimated machine time, the higher one charged, then quality, infill and quantity scale it. Standard quality (0.16 mm), standard infill (25%), standard turnaround, pre-tax. A $5 setup fee and a $30 order minimum apply per production batch; the per-unit figures below include the setup fee.

Material, color, slice settings, packaging spec and insert stay on file for reorders. Your packaging and inserts are stored free.

Printed at the single-unit price, credited back on the first production batch
One unit at the qty-1 price. Approve it from photos and measurements, or have it shipped to you at postage cost. The credit applies to that SKU’s first batch of 25 or more.
How an account works
No monthly fee
You pay for batches, shipments and postage. Batches are paid at order through Stripe checkout; pick/pack, packaging and postage are invoiced weekly.
Minimum batch 25 units per SKU
Reorders at any quantity above that. The $5 setup fee and $30 order minimum apply per production batch, never per shipment.
Ships from stock within 2 business days
Orders that reach us by the end of a business day leave with a carrier scan within two business days. Stock on hand is what makes marketplace ship-by windows workable.
Batch lead times in business days
Standard turnaround is 5–7 business days for a batch up to 50 units. Larger runs are scheduled by size — about 10 business days up to 250 units and 15 up to 1,000 — and total print volume counts as much as part count. The date is confirmed before the run starts.
Reprints
A print defect — layer shift, warping, wrong color or material, out of tolerance against the approved first article — is reprinted and reshipped at no charge when reported within 14 days of delivery with a photo. Carrier loss or damage: we ship the replacement and file the claim through Shippo.
Tax
No California sales tax on shipments leaving the state. California sellers file a resale certificate with us to buy batches tax-free.

PLATFORM NOTES
What each marketplace requires of a print partner
The rules that decide whether a fulfillment partner is allowed and how fast an order has to leave. Checked September 2026; the platform’s own policy page governs if it changes.
- Etsy
- Etsy’s Creativity Standards (revised June 2025) require a 3D printed item to be produced from the seller’s own original design; licensed third-party files no longer qualify. Production partners are allowed when disclosed — add TAKT 3D as a production partner in Shop Manager.
- Amazon Handmade
- Amazon Handmade requires sellers to design and produce their items themselves and prohibits outsourced production. Handmade listings cannot use TAKT 3D or any other fulfillment partner.
- TikTok Shop
- TikTok Shop expects a carrier scan within 2 business days of the order, so TikTok orders ship from stock we already hold for you. TikTok’s Made-to-Order program allows 3–14 business-day processing for custom items, which is the route for print-to-order SKUs.
- Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, WooCommerce
- Orders reach us through a Shippo store connection where your platform has one, or a CSV export from any cart, and every shipment returns a tracking number for your store.
WHOSE DESIGN IT IS
We print designs you own
TAKT 3D prints designs the seller owns or holds a commercial license for that permits third-party production. Merchant-tier licenses that end with the subscription or forbid outsourcing do not qualify, and anything using character, brand or franchise IP is refused. Keep the source files, timestamps and license receipts for every SKU; the marketplaces ask for them when a listing is challenged.

Sellers who built a shop on licensed files can replace them with designs they own. Our CAD desk turns a sketch, a photo or a reference part into a print-ready model at $125 per hour — first drafts usually within 48 hours, revisions included, scoped in a free 15-minute call.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can an Etsy seller use TAKT 3D to print and ship their products?
Yes, as a disclosed production partner. Etsy allows production partners for 3D printed items when the design is the seller’s own original work and the partner is listed in Shop Manager. Licensed third-party files no longer qualify under Etsy’s Creativity Standards (revised June 2025), so we ask every seller to confirm the design is theirs before the first article.
Can you fulfill Amazon Handmade orders?
No. Amazon Handmade requires the seller to design and produce the items themselves and prohibits outsourced production, so a Handmade listing cannot be fulfilled by TAKT 3D or any other print partner.
How fast do orders ship?
Orders that ship from stock we already hold leave with a carrier scan within 2 business days. A new batch runs on standard turnaround: 5–7 business days up to 50 units, about 10 business days up to 250 and 15 up to 1,000, with total print volume counting as much as part count. Expedited (3 business days) and rush (1–2 business days) tiers are priced as on /pricing. Every lead time is in business days, and the date is confirmed before the run starts.
Is there a monthly fee or a minimum monthly volume?
No monthly fee and no monthly minimum. You pay for production batches (minimum 25 units per SKU, $5 setup and a $30 order minimum per batch), a per-shipment pick and pack fee from $2.50, packaging from $0.50, and postage at Shippo’s commercial rate with no markup. Print profiles are stored free; finished inventory is free for 60 days, then $5 per tote per month.

The same way as every other TAKT 3D job. Will my customers know TAKT 3D printed the order?
Not from the package. The label carries your shop name and return address, the insert is yours, and nothing from TAKT 3D goes in the box. Marketplaces that require production-partner disclosure, such as Etsy, handle that in your shop settings, not on the parcel.
What happens if a part arrives defective or the carrier loses it?
A print defect reported within 14 days of delivery with a photo is reprinted and reshipped at no charge. Carrier loss or damage is replaced and the claim is filed through Shippo. Failures caused by the design itself are what the first article is for; a design change after approval starts a new first article.
I sell licensed files and need an original design to stay on Etsy. Can you help?
Yes. Our CAD service turns a sketch, photo or reference part into a print-ready model you own, at $125 per hour with first drafts usually within 48 hours and revisions included.
